Hidden Corner Camping Certificated Site

I absolutely love this little gem of a place. Set in a semi rural location you feel like you are at one with nature, waking to the lovely sound of birdsong every morning. The site is not too far from Maghull village where there are lots of nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. It’s a great location for exploring the Sefton coast. The site is beautifully looked after and has a really friendly feel about it. I’ll be back for sure to this Hidden Gem.

A friendly site. It was good having a member of staff on site so we could arrange arrival and departure times. The toilets were clean and well supplied and the site has grey water and chemical disposal facilities.

Ideally located near train station for travel into Liverpool and to the Foo Fighters at Anfeild stadium, which was our main reason for booking the campsite. At £40 per night, facilities were clean however could do with updating with increased privacy on toilet doors and a shower curtain. Small niggle really on the thursday 4 children were out on motorised bikes, no problem with this whilst on open feilds but when doing circles around the occupied camping feild felt that this was not appropriate.

Site is perfect location for accessing Liverpool. We were at a gig in Anfield so staying here in our caravan was ideal as only a short walk to the train station. The facilities could do with a makeover as a little tatty, but adequate with 3 toilets & a shower. The electric hook up is only 5 or 6amp though so my hairdryer tripped the circuit. However, there is a plug socket in the facilities block next to a big mirror so all good. There is a list in there aswell that tells you what you can use that won't trip the electric. All in all a great site for location, just could do with a tidy up.
