About The Wensleydale Hotel
Anyone planning a few days exploring the Yorkshire Dales, or wanting an easy base to visit Middleham Castle, will find The Wensleydale Hotel a straightforward and comfortable option. It sits right on Market Place in Middleham, in the middle of a town well used to visitors passing through on their way into the national park.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and there's free WiFi throughout if you need to stay connected. Breakfast is served on site, and the hotel has its own restaurant and bar for evening meals and a drink after a day's walking. Reception is staffed around the clock, so arrivals at odd hours aren't a problem, and pets are welcome, which suits those travelling with a dog for the Dales walking trails.
Free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go, and beyond the hotel doors there are further pubs, restaurants and other places to eat within easy reach, along with entertainment nearby for evenings out. It's a solid, no-fuss choice for a Dales trip rather than a destination in itself.
