Yew Tree Cottage

Ouzel Valley Park and a country pub lie within easy reach of Yew Tree Cottage, a Grade II listed property that has stood for over three centuries. The thatched building retains period character—uneven floors, sloping walls and doorways scaled to an earlier time—across six bedrooms spread over three floors, three bathrooms, and two reception rooms. One has a large fireplace; the other, an open fire. The ground floor also contains a kitchen with electric range, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a separate toilet. Parking for six cars sits on the property.

Space and layout suit groups and extended families. The main bedroom sits on the top floor with a dressing area. Downstairs you have a dining room and two living spaces, each with a television. A lawned garden includes a patio, terrace, children's play equipment and a barbecue. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi—are covered; a travel cot and highchair are on hand. One dog stays free.

Gulliver's Land theme park, SnoZone, Xscape (for skiing and indoor skydiving) and Woburn Safari Park all sit within a short drive, as does Woburn Abbey. The cottage does not permit smoking.
