What a wonderful weekend we've had staying at the campsite. Excellent host, great facilities, brilliant location by the river and great food/pints. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We've booked to go back.

Huge thank you to Scott & Sioned for saving my bacon over the weekend when I realised it was a bank holiday weekend and couldn't find anywhere last minute to stay, the night before going to the nearby Yamaha Offroad Experience, as all the more affordable accommodation nearby was booked up. I car camped at their campsite after a lovely meal, drink (served by the lovely Ange) and a chat with Scott and a couple of the locals until late. The facilities were lovely and clean, well lit and the views were gorgeous. I didn't use them myself but there were plenty of electrical hookups and it also looked like there was an eletric car charging facility in the upper car park. Thank you again and I hope to see you all again soon!

Really amazing area, well kept with a lovely river to take a dip! Exactly whats needed after a day of exploring. Owners were amazing, brilliant food in the pub and great shower and toilets.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Lion Inn. The place is beautiful, full of character, and set in a fantastic location. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with generous portions and great quality. As an angler, I also found it to be a great base for fishing, with some lovely spots nearby. Thank you to everyone at The Lion Inn for such a pleasant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommended. 😊🎣
