About Sunnybrae Caravan Site Certificated Location
Findochty is a small fishing village on the Moray Firth coast between Buckie and Portessie, known for its colourful harled cottages and working harbour. Sunnybrae Caravan Site Certificated Location is a certificated caravan park in the village itself, taking caravans on a small number of pitches.
The site has shower facilities. Being certificated, it operates under Camping and Caravanning Club standards, which means it takes members only and limits numbers to create a quieter environment than a standard caravan park. Findochty's harbour and coastal walks are on your doorstep, and Buckie's larger amenities are nearby if needed.

What visitors say
What a hidden gem this place is! I was torn about leaving a review because I don’t want to struggle to book in again!! Sunny Brae is delightful. Mike, the owner, has 5 spaces for camper vans/motorhomes or caravans, right next to his lovely cottage. There are no toilet or shower facilities (we were in a motorhome so that didn’t matter for us) but there are grey waste, chemical toilet waste and fresh water facilities. The views over Findochty (pronounced “Finekty” as Mike told us, are spectacular! You can see the sea and the sunsets are stunning! Mike has dvd’s, games, books and more and there’s WiFi too. We changed our plans mid-trip so I called to see if he could fit us in a day early (that day in fact) and Mike was really accommodating. We ended up spending two nights instead of one and loved it! Ended up buying some woodwork from Findochty Men’s Shed which is a really impressive place too! Can’t wait to be back Mike, thank you so much for a lovely stay!

One of the best campsites we've ever visited. The view is breathtaking, the activities in the surrounding area are so varied and stunning, and best of all is Mike, the owner. A truly kind man, helpful and lovely. We felt completely at home. Highly recommended. Note: Electricity, water, waste disposal, and Wi-Fi are available; no toilets or showers. Thanks Mike

Small campsite with very nice owner. View over a field and then the bay. Didn't really notice the traffic on the single track road. Site now has drainage channels so it will no longer get boggy. Site has a slight slope. WiFi is between 10 & 20 Mbps, so you can stream stuff. EE = 30+, Vodafone = 70+Mbps. TV signal was good.

We stopped at this CL last night. The owner was a very pleasant chap. Pitches are on hard ground/ gravel & are very slightly sloping but nothing that a block of wood or ramps wouldn’t resolve. Plenty of bins to recycle waste & electricity is rated at 16 Amps. All for just £18/ night with one of the best coastal views in the UK. Also includes free WiFi.
