Needle Cottage

Needle Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in Seatown's conservation area, a short walk from the beach and the Royal Oak Hotel. The ground floor has a sitting room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a second sitting room with books and games, a dining room, and a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin room, both with views toward the viaduct. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Everything you need for a stay is covered—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

What makes this cottage particularly practical is what's in the outbuilding: a washing machine, tumble dryer, and space to store bikes or sports equipment. There's also a south-facing front garden with seating, and on-road parking about 50 yards away. The location puts you within a minute's walk of Cullen Beach, a wide sandy stretch backed by the Three Kings rocks, with coastal trails running in both directions along the cliffs. Seatown itself is worth exploring for its distinctive gable-end cottages painted in bright colours. The cottage suits couples, families and small groups; smoking is not permitted.
