Forres sits in the heart of Moray, close enough to Inverness for a day trip yet deep in countryside known for its golf courses, rivers and walking routes. The area has literary connections too—Shakespeare's Macbeth was inspired by the real Scottish king who ruled until 1057, and information boards on the site tell that story alongside the landscape itself.

Pod 3 is a single-storey structure with everything contained on one level. Inside, an open-plan space combines the living area, kitchen and sleeping quarters. The kitchen has a two-ring hob and electric hob; there's a fridge, kettle and toaster. A double bed and two singles (one of which pulls out from under the other) sleep four people. The shower room is en-suite. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. A table with stools sits indoors; outside, a picnic table and fire pit with seating let you cook or simply watch the flames. One car can park on the property. The pod is non-smoking, and one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
