Stayed there this past weekend (24-26th July) and had a fantastic time despite the wind and bit of rain. Stunning views and the wild camping feel while still having good facilities. Its a nice touch having the fire pits and wood supplied (£5 per bag, very reasonable) means you dont have to take up space in the car bringing your own. Will definitely back in the not so distant future

Great location looking over at the span of the Mourne Mountains. The farmer regularly comes round to check everything is ok and check the toilet & shower. The field is massive so plenty of space to spread out. We were there on the holiday weekend and there was loads of space, even with quite a few there.

What a delightful campsite that is nearly like wild camping. It is fairly low-fi, ie there's only 1 toilet, one shower and two outdoor sinks but really what more do you need. The family who run it pop over regularly to clean the toilet and top up on loo roll and check if you need anything and are very friendly. Its a lovely peaceful spot in a location that is handy to get to lots of things. The field is fairly flat and has no heather/thistles etc to pick out good spots, everywhere is a good spot. Many campsites I've stayed in where yes there may be charge points and a shared fridge but you are camped on a slope on a load of thistles and hence not comfy at all. There is loads of space for kids to play eg rounders etc. Only saying this as a warning to folks to bring battery packs, there are no charging points which I'm fine with, not complaining.

A great place. Peace and quiet. Plenty of space. You can buy firewood and fresh eggs. The hosts are incredibly kind. I highly recommend visiting this place. Regards ❤️‍🔥
