This Premier Inn sits on City Road, on the Newcastle side of the river just upstream of the Millennium Bridge — close enough to the Quayside bars and the walk across to BALTIC and Sage Gateshead that the location does most of the work, at a fraction of the cost of the hotels actually on the water.

There is an on-site restaurant for breakfast and evening meals, useful given the walk into the thick of the Quayside restaurants takes a few minutes downhill.
