Really enjoyed High Score Arcades with the kids. They offer two prices 60 minutes or 90 minutes but the best part is you can pay for 60 and if you need the extra 30 mins then you just top up the difference. So many proper arcade games with a fixed one off entry fee. The "beat a staff" competition was a great initiative too. Would definitely come again

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to High Score Arcades Newport! It's great to see something like this open in Newport and made the most of our time there. We opted for an hour session for our first time. I would recommend 90 minutes as 60 minutes goes very quickly when there's so much choice. The capacity is 55 people but there was only about 20 when went and there was plenty of chance to go on almost everything without having to wait at all. The staff were really friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly as well as patrolled round to ensure they were on standby for anything. They have weekly competitions where you can win a free visit for next time. We got the high score for basketball this week so won a free visit with plenty of time to use it. Will definitely be coming back and bringing my son during the SEN friendly hour. Thanks very much, see you again soon!

Just got back from taking my son and his friend. A great arcade - there is a wide variety of newer machines that he really enjoyed, and there are also a number of machines with classics such as space invaders, tetris, pac man, bomb jack, etc. There are also two pinball machines, so an oldie like me had a lot of fun. The manager Saskia was great, so we will be back soon.

Highly recommend! Excellent staff and a great setup in there. I was passing by today, High Score struck me as opportunities to play arcade games are few and far between in Cardiff and generally I feel. I popped in, no time to play but just wanted to check out the machines. The guy at the counter was really decent and offered me a tour around explaining machines they had and some info on them. Sit in shooter/adventure games, huge VR machine honestly all sorts, I was very impressed. When I'm back I want a good go on the big RGB panel games they had. Thanks again to the guy that took me around, Devon? sorry I don't recall exactly. Super professional guy and a great representative for the business and Newport branch. Thanks!
