We stayed at this site a few years ago and absolutely loved it so came back with family this weekend. The food on site is top quality and brilliant portions for the price point. The bar is reasonably priced. The park on site is great for kids from about 2+ if they’re agile. The space is brilliant and also secluded at the same time. The only negative for us is that the showers/toilets weren’t cleaned properly, there were clumps of hair which had been stuck on the same shower wall for the whole trip just as one example. The disabled toilet was also in the same dirty state for the whole trip. It was a shame for us as last time we came they were always spotless which was great. The rest of the site is really well kept.

We had such a lovely stay at this campsite. The setting is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, with stunning scenery all around. The café on site is such a bonus, super convenient and the food and drinks were amazing. There are also some really lovely walks nearby, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the café staff were just as lovely. The only small thing that could be improved would be the bathroom facilities. They were okay overall, but at times they didn’t seem as clean as we would have expected and could probably do with a bit more regular attention. That said, it definitely didn’t take away from what was otherwise a really enjoyable and tranquil stay. We’d happily visit again!

Beautiful spot for camping. Very busy place, whether camping or the cafe. Great that it had pop up food vendors. Site well kept, grass cut etc. down side was despite booking and asked to be put with other members of our party we were spilt up. And annoyingly the pitch next to my father's never got used. Toilet block very new and lovely. Unfortunately not cleaned often enough. Toilets blocked, at one point only 2 useable in the ladies. Also run out of toilet paper. Not enough cubicles in the men's, hubby said only 5 cubicles and urinals. Huge site but not enough facilities for it. Showers very hot. Shower heads had limescale so water went in all directions except for on you!! Also cafe ran out of ice cream and milkshakes on the Saturday (May bank holiday weekend, you would have thought they would have been more prepared) Warden went around and asked music to be turned off at 10pm, which I think was great. Kids were very safe there. They had loads of fun. Big green for games etc and a football net which was well used!

Lovely! Very tidy and clean. Very dog friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have another hot food option on the Saturday night - only a pasta van was available. On the whole - we loved it!
