Sea Palling's sandy beach lies just beyond the dunes from Field Crest, a single-storey terraced cottage that sits within reach of both coast and countryside. The whole property is yours alone: a compact, ground-floor space with an open-plan living and dining area, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bedroom with a zip-and-link bed (split into two singles on request). The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Essentials like heating, power, Wi-Fi, linen and towels are all included, and one dog stays free.

This corner of North Norfolk branches in several directions. Winterton's circular walks and nature reserve are close by, while the Norfolk Broads—with fishing, boat trips and hire—sit a few miles inland. Horsey Gap Beach draws seal-spotters in winter months. For wider entertainment, BeWILDerwood adventure park is at Horning, Norwich's museums and cathedral are within an hour's drive, and Great Yarmouth offers seafront attractions. Closer to home, a shop, pub and restaurant are about a mile away. The cottage has parking for two cars and a shared paved garden with barbecue access. No smoking inside.
