Bank End Lodge

Inside, three double bedrooms and two wet rooms provide straightforward accommodation for six guests, with one bedroom offering an ensuite. The open-plan ground floor combines living and dining space with French doors opening onto a lawned garden; the kitchen is equipped for everyday cooking, with a gas hob and electric oven. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. A single dog stays free of charge.

The location suits walkers and cyclists particularly well—the surrounding countryside has cycle routes and footpaths starting from the property, and nature reserves at Barlow Common and Skipwith are nearby. York lies 20 miles south; Beverley and its minster are further east. The coast—Filey, Scarborough and Whitby—is within reach for a day trip. A pub and shop stand three-quarters of a mile away. The property has parking for three cars, a bike store, and a garden with decking and seating. Children under 13 are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted.
