Beckbridge House

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Pickering is a market town where the North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs steam trains through the surrounding countryside, and Beckbridge House sits in the middle of it all. The property occupies a prime spot near the Beck, with the railway station within walking distance and the wider national park accessible for day trips. The town itself has restaurants, pubs and independent shops, plus a calendar of events throughout the year.

The whole house is yours for six guests across three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Ground floor holds a living and dining room with wood burner and smart TV, plus a kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob and other essentials for self-catering. There's a separate toilet on this level. Upstairs, the first floor has a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a bedroom with zip-and-link king bed, and a bunk room. A full bathroom with bath and shower sits on the first floor, and a second shower room is on the second floor. Outside, a garden beside the Beck has seating and furniture for sitting out. The heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the wood burner's initial fuel is too. Note there is a step in the garden. One car can park on site. No smoking inside.
