Craven Cottage is a Grade II listed terraced cottage sleeping two, a short walk from Skipton town centre and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The ground floor has a living and dining room with a woodburner (initial logs provided) and a smart TV, plus a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave. Upstairs is a double bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
The cottage comes with its own parking space, and you can use the enclosed patio with garden furniture. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Dogs stay free and are welcome here. The location puts you within walking distance of Skipton's four-day-a-week market and the high street; a pub and restaurant are 200 yards away, and the shop is even closer. The surrounding area offers towpath walks along the canal and access to the Yorkshire Dales beyond. Embsay, two miles away, has a heritage steam railway.

This cottage is very special. The village is welcoming, the local pub (The Craven Arms) is all a pub should visit and there are so many interesting walks nearby a week is not long enough!

Arrived in error as my team were playing Fulham and I'd put the wrong details in the sat nav. Ended up staying the night and watching the game on Sky. Worked out well in the end. Lovely accomodation and hosts.

Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and take in the countryside. A charming, warm home that has been transformed with modern sittings and facilities. Charming friendly village. Stayed there for 3 nights in 2019 and didn't want to leave. Suitable for families or couples wanting a cheeky getaway.
