Home Cottage is a 200-year-old stone cottage in the village of Hovingham, in North Yorkshire. The property sleeps five across two bedrooms: a kingsize on the first floor and three single beds on the second floor. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, one with a walk-in shower. The whole place is yours alone, and one dog stays free.
Downstairs, the living room centres on a woodburner. The kitchen has everything needed for proper cooking—electric cooker, range, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. A utility room and shower room complete the ground floor. Heating is oil central heating with underfloor warming in the bathroom. You get wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Out back is an enclosed patio with garden furniture. Parking is on road, with additional free spaces at the village hall.
Hovingham has a bakery and a pub within a mile. The village sits on the edge of the Howardian Hills, near Castle Howard and within reach of the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and the coast. No smoking inside the cottage.
