Mill Cottage

Mill Cottage comes ready for you to move in and cook. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, slow cooker and a washer dryer. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. There's a log fire in the living room, a separate dining room, and a modern shower room with a walk-in shower. The two bedrooms sleep four: one has a sleigh double bed, the other two singles. You get one parking space on site.

The cottage is a grade II listed building in Pickering, a market town in the North Yorkshire Moors. Walking distance gets you to independent shops, cafés and pubs. The steam railway connects to Whitby and villages along the moors. Dalby Forest is nearby for cycling and walking; the coast is thirty minutes' drive away. The area suits families exploring Flamingo Land, history buffs visiting Castle Howard or Eden Camp, and anyone wanting easy access to moorland trails and the Yorkshire seaside. No smoking inside.
