Rose Cottage is a Victorian property sleeping four in the village of Bradley, three miles from Skipton's market square. The whole place is yours alone. Two bedrooms sit upstairs—one with a king bed, the other a zip-and-link that can split into singles on request—and both have their own bathrooms with shower or bath. A sofa bed on the top floor offers flexible extra sleeping. The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen and living space with a woodburner; essentials like electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are included, along with initial fuel for the stove.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. You're within a mile of a pub, and a shop is a short walk away. The Leeds-Liverpool canal runs nearby for a gentle stroll. From here you can reach the Yorkshire Dales by car or on foot—Malham and Bolton Abbey are close by—or catch a train to Saltaire or Leeds. York is further afield but accessible for a day out. On-street parking is available, and there's a communal courtyard to the rear. No smoking inside.
