St Hilda’s Rest
North Yorkshire
Staithes village and Runswick Bay are within reach for a day by the sea, while the North York Moors and Cleveland Way footpath make this a natural base for walkers. Whitby is about nine miles away. St Hilda's Rest is a converted barn set in the village of Hinderwell, refurbished in 2021, sleeping ten across five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space where you can cook properly and gather as a group. A kingsize bedroom with ensuite wet room is also down here. Upstairs: two double bedrooms with ensuites, another double, and a twin room. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered. Outside there is a private garden with furniture and a hot tub, plus a shared courtyard terrace on the wider development. Parking for three cars is available. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost. No smoking indoors.
