Barmoor Castle Country Park

We stayed in Stable Cottage for 3 nights, we have stayed in a lot of cottages over the years but this one beats them all hands down. The cottage itself was so spacious and had everything you could need. The grounds, from the courtyard outside of the cottage to the whole of Barmoor Country Park grounds were simply stunning, we can’t stress enough how special they are. We met lots of the staff and the owners of Barmoor, they were all so lovely, genuine and all exude warmth and friendliness. Our only regret was that we only booked three nights. Cottage, park and surroundings totally amazing! It really is a very special place.

We have owned a holiday home at Barmoor for seven months now and it was a wonderful decision. The park is immaculate and tranquil and Jamie & team go out of their way make everyone feel welcome. The grounds staff always wave and say hello without fail. Our toddler grandsons are delighted when the ‘tractor man /lady’ acknowledges them - just a small gesture but it makes all the difference. A wonderful spot to be in a great location.

We are residents at Barmoor Castle Country Park and could not be happier with our choice. The park is peaceful, spacious, and immaculately maintained, with a real sense of care and attention throughout. It offers genuine tranquility while still being perfectly located for the Northumberland coast and countryside. There is a strong sense of quality and pride in how the park is run. The grounds are always beautifully kept, the layout gives plenty of space and privacy, and it never feels crowded. It is quiet without feeling isolated, which is exactly what we were looking for. The team are approachable, professional, and genuinely care about both the park and the people who live here. You are made to feel welcome and supported, and there is a real community feel without it being intrusive. A fantastic place to be based and a real credit to the owners and team. We would wholeheartedly recommend Barmoor to anyone looking for a peaceful, high quality park in a stunning part of Northumberland.

We stayed in cottage 2 for a week. What a lovely , peaceful park . The setting is lovely and beautifully maintained. Our accommodation was spotless and roomy with a touch of luxury. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend.
