I have to say this is probably the nicest site I have ever stayed on, it is remarkably quiet and peaceful, the pitches are well spaced out and it has all the facilities you need. The layout of the caravan and motorhome park has been well though out, no wandering past people's pitches to get water, in fact they are placed so you can reverse up to them without disturbing anyone else. The grey water point is easy to get on to and the compound for bins and elsan point is clean and tidy. But its the grounds itself that made this two night stay special, I have really enjoyed walking with my dogs around the grounds. So peaceful and beautifully kept. Would highly recommend. Didn't get to use the tea room sadly as we spent our days exploring. But really glad I chose to book here, would definitely book again next time we are traveling the east side of Scotland.

Great site and location. For self-contained vans/motor homes and caravans only. Spacious pitches. Then only let can be the lack of cleanliness over a weekend with the toilet and shower rooms, no cleaning done and some people clearly don't how to leave these rooms in clean state for other people. Administration and organisation on site is a hit and miss, we stayed for two nights and asked to stay an extra night, which was confirmed but we had to move to another pitch as someone had booked our pitch, so we packed up and moved only for no one to turn up and occupy the pitch we had been on.

Very peaceful stop over a good pitch with hook up within what was once a walled garden it does have shower room and toilets basic but good, hard standing pitch but some do slope so you may need ramps to balance. The shower floor was spongey in the one I used probably caused by water ingress. Cost was £33 but that was for 4 adults 2 children and a dog . Nothing spectacular but beautiful and peaceful, sadly we had no time to visit the gardens or hall but we will return to the site .

Well set out sheltered wall garden caravan park .Very quiet and peaceful with enough space between pitches.A walk in the grounds of Paxton House is a must , remember to call in the cafe for coffee and cake.A local bus picks up and drops off at the main car park with options to travel to Berwick or Duns. We enjoyed our two night stay and would recommend a stay at Paxton.
