Proctor's Stead Caravan Site and Camping Park

Really lovely site, all the staff were very friendly, very accommodating and we had a good location right next to the toilet and shower block. We were on hard standing which was perfect and good spacing between caravans. There is a little shop on site if you run out of anything. The toilets whilst a little rustic were kept very clean and with little feminine touches in the washroom which was much appreciated. The location was perfect, close to Craster and other walks. The local pub close by was also good with very well priced meals. Throughly recommend this site and we will definitely go back again.

We stayed for two nights at this delightful camp site, and were made very welcome by the owners. The pitches are a mixture of hard surface and grass, and we requested to be near the facilities due to wife’s medical condition, and were put very close to them. The facilities were spot on, with good showers and every where was indeed very clean and well maintained, even down to good quality toilet paper ( wife’s noticed this ). Would recommend this site and would return there again.

Outstanding site Clean, spacious, very Stoma Friendly. Campervan stay with 2 adults and a dog. Stayed on a grass electric hook up pitch. Check in n out times convenient, everyone cant do enough for you. We booked 1 night and extended to 2. Traveling with a stoma can be tricky an d very few sites (unless adult only) have facilities that make life easier when dealing with your stoma. It was loverly to find a site that had space in the toilets and showers. Walking distance to the beach.

Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to a leaking caravan but… this site is LOVELY! Clean, well maintained, excellent location and the nicest staff we’ve met so far! The owner even donated us an onion we needed for a stew (we’d forgotten one). We will definitely be visiting again when we’ve dried out 10/10.
