What visitors say
This was a lovely park we found by chance when our battery was running out. The reception was so friendly and helpful. The pitches are generous and the park beautifully maintained. Immaculate and comprehensive facilities. Also a generous dog walking area with a woodland walk. Reasonable price at £40 a night can mandarin the facilities. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at South Meadows Caravan Park. The site was absolutely immaculate, and the facilities were spotless and well maintained. Everything was clean, modern, and clearly looked after, which made our stay really comfortable. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the CCTV around the bathroom/shower area. I understand it’s there for security, but I saw young children with no clothes on coming in and out of the shower area, and knowing CCTV was present made me feel uneasy from a privacy perspective. Aside from that, it was an excellent caravan park with outstanding facilities, and we’d happily stay again. Well done for having such a lovely site and keeping it to such high standards!

Stayed for 2 nights in campervan during a road trip around Northumberland. A large site with very well kept, generous sized pitches. Shower block, loos and washing up area exceedingly clean and modern. We stayed in an area called Cherry Drive which had fewer pitches than the larger fields and it was very peaceful. Wifi decent too. Belford village is easily walkable. There are a couple of pubs but we didn't visit them as couldn't find much in the way of reviews and lacking in kerb appeal. Handy Co-op though. Loads to visit in the local area. A short drive to Bamburgh and Seahouses. Easy to access the coastal path from there. Boat trips to see the Farne Islands and wildlife from Seahouses. Amazing fish and chips from Hook. Bamburgh is beautiful with pubs and cafes although didn't make it to castle. And Lindisfarne is only a 25 min drive. Gorgeous island with lots of wildlife, coastal path, priory and castle. Plenty of pubs and cafes too. South Meadow is a lovely campsite which has had lots of care and attention poured into it.

We’ve just spent 5 days in our touring caravan at this site . We’ve been camping most of our 50 some years of marriage, in all kinds of units, in all kinds of weather conditions both here in the UK and Europe as well as New Zealand and Australia. We both agree this site is one of the best sites we’ve ever stayed on. The grounds are well cared for beautifully designed, the facilities are excellent. The weather was not the best, Northumberland isn’t known for its wall to wall sunshine , but we had ample shelter and found it an excellent base for exploring. The village is small but nice ,pub food only available at weekends but the Farmshop and deli almost next door are lovely and there’s a coop for any of those forgotten items.
