Beechcroft

Built with character, Beechcroft is a holiday cottage in Seahouses where the living room centres on a wood-burning stove—the kind of focal point that defines a winter getaway or takes the edge off cooler evenings any time of year. The ground floor holds this main living space alongside a fully equipped kitchen with room to gather around the dining table. Three bedrooms upstairs sleep six: two with king beds and Smart TVs, one with standard bunks. A family bathroom serves the floor. The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, and the stove fuel is included too.

What you actually do here depends on timing. The enclosed back garden has seating and a barbecue for warmer months. Year-round, Seahouses harbour sits under half a mile away, close enough for a casual walk to watch fishing boats or book a trip out to the Farne Islands. The village itself has pubs, restaurants and shops within reach on foot. One dog can stay free; the cottage is non-smoking, and parking for one car is available on the property.
