Fishers Cottage comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer, so you can cook anything from a quick meal to a full dinner. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a double, two singles and a single—served by a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Downstairs, the living room has a Freeview TV and DVD player, and there's a separate toilet for convenience. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and Wi-Fi is included. The garage houses a tumble dryer and useful storage space.

The cottage sits in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of Seahouses, a traditional coastal village with shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. An enclosed garden with patio and seating looks to the rear. On-site parking is provided for one car. One dog stays free. Seahouses itself is on the Northumberland coast near Seahouses Golf Club, and the nearby harbour runs boat trips to the Farne Islands to see nesting seabirds and grey seals. Bamburgh village and its castle are 2 miles north. No smoking inside the property.

Fishers cottage is the perfect home from home stay! It is surrounded by lots of great walking routes, attractions and beautiful scenery! The hosts were extremely accommodating and are very knowledgable of the local surroundings. The house is filled with lots of lovely tips, recommendations and suggestions to make your stay all the more pleasurable. We can't wait to go back already!

Stayed at Fishers Cottage with my partner and two children. The hosts were amazingly accommodating and already had a lot of items - like high chair, travel cot, children’s books, toys and games - which made this cottage so welcoming for children. There is also a fully working gas BBQ, a garden well suited for sitting outside with company/family, a lot of beach equipment…everything that we needed seemed to be there! The house itself was very clean and extremely homely. It is 5mins walk to the town centre (either on the main road or on the beautiful coastal path). The sea is two minutes away and has some wonderful rock pools, plus a small children’s park is just around the corner from the house. All in all, we had a fabulous holiday and would have stayed longer if we could have! Seahouses itself has a lot to do for families, but the house is also within half an hour of Lindisfarne, Alnwick - not to mention having Beadnell and Bamburgh next door. If we came up to visit this area again, Fishers Cottage would be our first choice!

This is our third visit to Fishers cottage and yet another fantastic break. Everything that we needed was to hand, the house itself was warm and welcoming as we arrived during storm Eunice. No doubt we will return again as we realy do love the area and Fishers cottage is idealy located for a great base. Land mark attractions on the doorstep or a short car journey. The local shops have everything we need if we forget staples and more, local restaurants offer fantastic meals,The Bamburgh Castle Hotel particular is ideal to eat and take our dogs.

Cozy and comfortable! A wonderful seaside retreat and ideal for a romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a prime location with scenic beaches only a short walk away. The relaxing abode is located near enough to Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick for an afternoon adventure. The cottage is clean, well-stocked, and filled with cushions! The three bedrooms make it a solid choice for family stays, as well! Plus, it’s pet friendly! Fishers Cottage is highly recommended!
