Framlington Villa is a modern detached lodge on a quiet lane near Longframlington, surrounded by open countryside on the edge of Northumberland. The entire property is on the ground floor, accessed via two steps, with a south-facing aspect and full-width glass frontage that floods the rooms with light. Two king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, patio doors onto decking, and television, sit either side of the central living space. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area means a group can spread out without feeling disconnected, and there's parking for three cars on site.
The kitchen is set up for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances mean you can prepare meals rather than relying on takeaways. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, and the heating runs throughout. The decking wraps around the property and catches the sun; garden furniture is provided for sitting outside. The location works well for exploring Northumberland's interior: Rothbury is four miles away, Alnwick and Morpeth roughly nine. Locally, Longframlington village is three-quarters of a mile and has pubs, cafés, a bakery and shops. No smoking inside the property.

Wonderful holiday home! Very modern and spotlessly clean on arrival. The villa is set in the grounds of the owners property, surrounded by lush green trees and grass, the only sound you can hear is the birds. Heaven! I had great communication back and forth with Jocelyn. Also Ian popped in to welcome us and go through the underfloor heating settings plus he recommend places to visit whilst in the area. Flatscreen tv and dvd player on the wall in the lounge with big comfy sofas. A great selection of dvds/books/maps, and we enjoyed the use of them all. The complimentary milk/tea/coffee/biscuits and wine were a much appreciated warm welcome after a long drive there. We used the hot high powered shower and also the deep freestanding bath. Bliss! There was only 2 of us, but it was very handy having 2 bathrooms. Towels and bed linen were provided and the villa has all of the utensils you will need for cooking and serving. Huge comfortable bed with extra throw cushions and throw blanket, plus a tv/dvd in the bedroom. Lastly we were offered late check out free of charge, due to availablity within their calender. Jocelyn and Ian have thought of everything in this fabulous holiday home and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here!

We had a brilliant stay in Framlington Corner. Spotless, spacious and comforable with a great layout with ensuite bedrooms at either end of the lodge to ensure privacy when staying with others. The location is superb, peaceful, quiet, yet in a small village with enough amenities available. Can recommend the Running Horse for great picnics and cakes. Within 30-40 mins of fantastic Castles, Beaches, Towns and Villages. The owners were on hand via mobile should you need it, we didn't. There is another lodge next door but is separated by the parking area for Framlington Villa. We will definitely be returning to this great place and beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty.
