Seahouses is a working fishing port on the Northumberland coast, where the harbour still launches boat trips to the Farne Islands. Seaholme sits in the heart of this traditional village, a short walk from the sea and from local shops, restaurants and pubs. The nearest golden beach is at Bamburgh, three miles north; Beadnell Bay, popular for water sports, lies a couple of miles south.
The house is a spacious semi-detached property spread over two floors. Downstairs, the living and dining room opens onto a large enclosed garden through patio doors, and there's a separate kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a king in the master (which has a bay window), two singles, and bunk beds—plus a family bathroom with shower over the bath. One car can park on site. The essentials are covered: electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen and towels are included, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
This works well for families or small groups wanting a base for exploring the coast. Nearby attractions include horse riding at the village edge, an 18-hole golf course on the links, and day trips inland to Alnwick Castle and its gardens. No smoking throughout.
