About Barnstones Caravan & Camping Park
Barnstones Caravan & Camping Park sits on Main Street in Great Bourton, a small village south of Banbury. The site offers level, hard-standing pitches, which means caravans and motorhomes have a stable base and easy access even after rain. Showers and toilet facilities are kept to a high standard, as is the washing-up area, so daily routines are straightforward.
The village location puts you within walking distance of the community centre, and staff are attentive and welcoming without fuss. The site works well as a quiet stopping point for exploring north Oxfordshire and the wider region without the premium prices of larger parks.

What visitors say
Stayed in our folding camper for 5 nights. Lovely little site perfect base to go off and explore the amazing sites around the area. Not a commercial site and family run. Definitely worth stopping and great value for money

We booked this site as it is less than an hour from home so an ideal place to stay in the winter months. We were met by Billy who showed us to our pitch, he was friendly and informative. The pitches are all level on hard standing. My husband used the onsite toilets which he says were clean, tidy and adequate. Sadly the village pub is closed so we walked to Cropedy along the road which has a footpath so perfectly safe. We visited The Brasenose Arms where we had lunch, though it was quite expensive and there’s not a lot of choice of sandwiches or light lunches. We are walking to Hanwell today to have Sunday lunch at The Moon & Sixpence. Although the main road is quite close it is not overly noisy, you certainly cannot hear the M40 which is about half a mile away. To conclude, we will definitely be back and look forward to exploring the surrounding countryside in better weather!

We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at Barnestone caravan park. We arrived early and spoke with Billy and he even drove down early to let us in early. The facilities are very well maintaned and clean and all other campers were all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Barnestone if youre looking for a pitch in the area. Lovely, quiet site. Everything you need for your stay. Toilet, showers, and washing up facilities all immaculate. Slightly close to a road but didn't hear any road noise. Not a place for views from the site, but nice, private pitches. Owner extremely welcoming.
