Quarry Cottage

Quarry Cottage is equipped for guests who want a self-contained base without compromise. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. The kitchen has a full electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can cook properly or travel light. A wood burner in the living room creates a focal point on colder days, with initial fuel provided and more available to order. On-site parking accommodates two cars, and there's an enclosed back garden with furniture, useful if you're bringing a dog.

The layout spreads across three floors: ground floor holds the open-plan living and dining space plus kitchen; upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super kingsize (which splits into singles on request) and a second with a single bed. The bathroom has both a full bath and a separate shower with a heated towel rail. One dog can stay free and is welcome, though it should be kept on a lead at the front due to a public footpath and nearby livestock. Smoking is not permitted. This is a whole property to yourselves, sleeping three in total.
