Intended staying one night but a very nice little site we stayed longer. Jan was very helpful and friendly. Great for nearby walk along the disued railway, now a track for walkers and bikes. Reccommended.

We stopped over here for one night on the way back down south after a tour of Scotland. I’m not one for writing bad reviews, but unfortunately this site was below expectation having read other reviews. Perhaps the other reviews are people that are in the self contained caravans… The location is great, very peaceful and the site itself is tidy. However, the facilities are terrible. The water from both the pitch “drinking” tap and in the washing and shower blocks was brown, luckily we had a couple of bottles of water with us as a backup for drinking and cooking. The showers were 20p for 8 mins, and not one of the four of us stayed in 8 mins as they were cold even on the highest setting. The toilet and shower blocks were plastered with mould and mildew and a smell to match. Sadly we will not be returning to this site :(

Had our tourer on seasonal pitch first time ever here . Amd loved itvthat much we ended up buying static from jan and robert which are the most hard working couple ive ever seen being in the building trade myself for 35 years this couple would shame a lot of people lol . Love the site kids love wife loves and most of all our 2 labs mac and harley have tons of walks too would stay permanent if we could 🤣 . The lovelyist owners of a site we have ever met .plus great friends made on site . Happy days !!!!!!!
