What visitors say
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem in the Highlands – We Didn’t Want to Leave! We stayed at Ardgualich Farm for 5 nights as a family of 3 (2 adults and our 13-year-old daughter) and honestly, the pictures online do not do this place justice. This is a peaceful, family-run working farm campsite with the perfect balance of simplicity, privacy, and comfort. If you’re expecting loud entertainment, commercial camping chaos, crowded pitches, or tacky holiday park vibes — this is NOT that. And that’s exactly why we loved it. The campsite has a genuine, relaxed camping atmosphere while still maintaining high standards with the essentials. The toilets, showers, and washroom facilities were immaculate, warm, and always clean. Everything felt well cared for without losing the authentic farm and countryside feel. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lady at reception was beyond helpful and genuinely lovely throughout our stay. We felt welcomed onto their family farm rather than just treated like another booking. Even the residents staying in the static caravans were friendly and respectful, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. One of the best parts of this site is the direct loch access for guests staying on the campsite — perfect for launching kayaks or simply relaxing by the water. Fishing permits are also available directly from reception, which was ideal for us. This campsite is perfect for: Couples wanting peace and quiet Small families wanting to escape busy commercial campsites Campers who enjoy nature, scenery, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing People who appreciate simple camping done properly A few things future campers should know: This is a quiet and respectful campsite, which makes it special! It’s ideal for relaxing and switching off Bring kayaks/paddleboards if you have them The surrounding scenery is incredible, especially in the evenings. You’ll likely wish you booked longer! We genuinely did not want to leave and would return without hesitation. 5/5 campsite — one of the best we’ve stayed at in Scotland.

Lovely wee quirky site roughly 20 minutes walk from the Queen's View. We really enjoyed our time here, the road into the site is quite rough so be prepared if like us you're driving a motorhome. Great spot to launch paddleboards or kayaks. There's no shop on site so make sure you bring absolutely everything you need. We were on the lower deck grass area but there is hard standing pitches on the level up. The toilet block was very clean with 3 showers & 3 toilets in the ladies. Potwash had complimentary washing up clothes & liquid so if you do forget that you'll be ok! Fab stop for 1 or 2 nights.

Incredible location. I showed up without booking and was given a space right by the loch. Great facilities, powerful shower. Would highly recommend.
