About Tummel Valley Holiday Park - Parkdean Holidays

Tummel Valley Holiday Park is a woodland site near Pitlochry offering 2- and 3-bedroom timber lodges. Several include hot tubs, and all come with well-equipped kitchens. The on-site riverside bar and restaurant serves as a social hub, and there is a shower block for guests. A grocery shop and the Tummel Valley Swimming Pool are both within a minute's walk.

The lodges are spacious and comfortable, though maintenance can be inconsistent across the park. Staff are attentive and the site runs entertainment for children during peak seasons. The riverside setting and proximity to woodland walks make it a reasonable base for exploring the Pitlochry area.

What visitors say

Lodge was fine, staff were friendly, surroundings were great, very peaceful. Access roads from A9 are a bit of a challenge. Only downside for us was the club house, music was deafening loud and the food was all made from frozen ingredients. It would have been nice to be offered some fresh local didhes

Great location, nice caravan site if a little cramped, unfortunately people used our caravan pitch as an unofficial shortcut, so our privacy was compromised daily which also upset our dog and our stay. Tha facilities are more akin to a Butlins camp whis is ok for families but not if you prefer a quieter / relaxing stay. The Inn at Loch Tummel is wirth a visit booth for the view and the food which was excellent.

We recently stayed at Tummel Valley for four nights, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The caravan was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It really felt like a home away from home. The location itself is absolutely stunning — surrounded by beautiful scenery that never gets old. It’s easily one of our favourite places for a short getaway, whether it’s a midweek break or just a couple of nights to unwind. The children had an amazing time as always. They especially loved the entertainment, which kept them engaged and happy throughout our stay. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable for us as a family. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and can’t wait to return again soon. Tummel Valley never disappoints! The only downfall was the TV was small in the caravan but we managed :)

We had a lodge right by the river so a nice location. The lodge is well equipped with washer and dishwasher but just the very bare minimum of cutlery. It seems to be quite old, the patio door has no lock just a hook which is hardly secure. It has been refurbished with new carpets etc but it's still showing it's age. Drinks in the bar are very expensive. So it's acceptable but not really premium.
