After completing the NC500 and stayed at various campsites along the route with prices ranging between £24 - £26 we were surprised to see this site charging £35? For this price we thought it must be so much better than the others on the NC500 route. Sadly mistaken. One shower, not cleaned when we arrived and not cleaned in the morning. No soap to wash your hands with when we arrived and also in the morning.Alarm going off every time someone goes to the toilet at night?? Gardener starts cutting grass at 7.30am? Faulty Towers! The other campsites we stayed at were so clean with great facilities throughout, so for the Craighead site to charge £35 this is an absolute rip off. The whole place looks as though it’s in need or a good clean up.

One night spent by two adults in a campervan. Very nice and quiet caravan park. We were looking for a peaceful place to spend the night and this is what we were needing. The town and a couple of pubs are at a nice walking distance. The toilets and showers were fine, as there weren't many people around to use them. Overall this is a nice familiar but quiet place.

It’s a nice peaceful site, lovely friendly welcome from the host. Very lucky to have the place to ourselves tonight so far. Checked out the toilet and shower block and it was very clean, tried the shower and it has a decent flow and the water was hot. Also has coin op washer and drier and a sink for doing your pots / dishes with plenty hot water. £25 a night for hard standing with EHU. 10-15 minutes walk down to the village, stunning coastline with many sights and amenities nearby.
