What visitors say
Another fantastic stay . Beach opposite for direct access. Pitched up next to the reed beds. Amazing wildlife Birds and insects everywhere. The children have been identifying everything they see and find using free apps on the phone. Home educating on steroids! Highly recommend this site if you love nature and want a little peace in your crazy life. The staff as usual are amazing and always ready to help . Big shout out to Gary!! If you have a rod beach fishing is a must.

Dodge took us to our pitch and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d hired a campervan and this was the first night of our trip, so he immediately put us at ease and was so helpful. It’s a lovely, small site just across the road from the beach, with Pevensey Bay around a 30-minute walk away. The shower and toilet facilities were spotlessly clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The site has a 12pm checkout, but the toilet block is closed for cleaning between 10:30am and 12pm. This effectively leaves no access to toilets during the final part of the stay, which is inconvenient given the checkout time. During this closure, my wife accidentally left a jumper in one of the toilet cubicles. We informed a member of staff who was cleaning (3 times in fact). Despite being told exactly where it was (hanging on the back of the cubicle door), we were told there was no item there. We waited approximately 50 minutes until cleaning finished, at which point we were able to retrieve it ourselves. The staff member appeared unwilling to check properly or acknowledge the item despite clear instructions. The on-site shop also had very limited opening hours and was closed at inconvenient times during our stay. Overall, the combination of restricted facility access during checkout, lack of flexibility during cleaning, and limited service availability made the stay poor value at £50 for one night in a basic tent pitch.

Great place right on the beach. Large site and very popular. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't use the facilities (other than water) as I was only there one night.
