Absolutely wonderful. I visited today for the first time to do a candle making course. From start to finish the lady who owns the shop and her daughter who ran the course were so lovely. The course was really informative (I like details) and so much fun. Thank you so much for being so kind, friendly, professional and knowledgable. I will definitely be back. 10/10. 5 ⭐

Wonderful little treasure of a shop and very welcoming, a lovely warm, kind helpful lady who works in there. My child made Candles there today in the Summer holidays ...he had a great experience, we have also booked making bath bombs and slime and later in the holidays fidget toys. This is a little gem of a shop not to be missed!

If you want somewhere supportive to help you learn how to use your sewing machine or more advanced techniques then this is the place for you. I learnt so much that I will definitely put into practice and the shop is packed with fabrics and other craft supplies. It is a friendly welcoming environment for those new to the craft. Definitely recommend a class there

I've just spent a brilliant day doing a 'get to know your sewing machine' workshop. When I raised a question after booking, the owner replied promptly. The Craft Studio is easy to find. We were asked to bring a certain size material (of a specified size) and 3 buttons so we could make our own cushion cover. The workspace is for a maximum of 4 people to work comfortably around each other. I brought my own sewing machine but there are several available at th venue if you don't have your own. We started off with picking some fabric from the off cuts or rolls to make our first item which was a material bowl (not sure how I can describe it better). This gave us the base skills to understand how to bring something together. The next item was a pencil case / make up style bag with a zip. I found this a bit challenging but Karen is on hand to guide you. The last item was the envelope style cushion. Karen has a great balance of helping out when needed and sitting back when you are confidently making progress. I thoroughly recommend the fabulous instruction and knowledge you are getting here and at a very reasonable price to learn a new skill. I would do this workshop again. There are so many crafting events available here, I'm looking forward to choosing what to do next. Beginners craft kits and other bits and bobs sold here too.
