This property is in a lovely location, however the house is terribly dated and in need of renovation. I took the smallest bedroom in the property and in my room alone, there were pringles and hairbands all over the floor under the beds. The toilet had brown water and a scuzzy layer on top, a half used bar of soap in the shower, a THICK layer or dust in the bathroom window, the seal broken off the window in the bedroom, light bulbs missing from the lamp, cracks in the walls that had been "covered" in a different paint shade, mould in the shower and a huge stain on the carpet. The rest of the house was unfortunately much the same - stained rugs in the living room, cobwebs everywhere, filthy crockery, broken equipment. Squeaky floorboards upstairs meant tiptoeing about not to wake the children and other guests. You can't deadlock the front door. Baby gate at the top of the stairs but nothing at the bottom - pointless having it there at all. The only positives of the property itself were the garden and the underfloor heating. The space has so much potential.

We have just come back from a great long weekend at this lovely house Webbs Retreat!! We were a party of 8, and all found it very cosy and spacious! Very well equipped kitchen. We all had a great time and would go back.

Well equipped holiday home. Stayed there for a family get together. Plenty of equipment to cook a roast dinner for 8 people. Good location with the beach within walking distance

Basically the accommodation is advertised as being luxury? The location is great and the exterior view lends itself as being very nice. Upon entering we were faced with a very 1990s dated decor of which was very tired and of need of a deep clean. We approached Cornwall hideaways regarding issues we were faced with however not all were resolved and we were made out to be lying about the issue we brought to there attention. The main issues were the stained mattresses and the double mattress of which had a broken spring. 15 email exchanges and 3 phone calls we were still made out to be lying of which was very insulting. We as two families believe the main issue is that the property has simply not been touched since it was built and the owner needs to stop being greedy and bring the property in to the 2021 era. Such a shame as we would love to return but not with the property being in the current tired dated state.
