A Camping and Caravan Club Site as a member, I'm shocked that this place is in their portfolio. Bin area disgusting. Catching Covid was the last thing on my mind to be honest. Signs in public loo to wash hands yet no soap or gel available. Totally unacceptable.

Perfect for a stop off. People who complain about the noise of the road are silly, you're just off the A1 so yeah of course there is going to be road noise (it definitely wasn't noisy all night though). The only thing that let our stay down was due to other users, not the site. The toilet facilities were fine, but not looked after by other campers, the toilet roll kept being taken and rubbish and unwanted items were just left in there. That's obviously not the site's fault, but maybe they could have someone check in on facilities more often? Other than that it was a brilliant little spot to stop off.

No toilet paper, no hot tap. No soap, nothing to dry hands. Going to try shower, hoping there will be hot water but not really expecting it. I'll let you know. Worth £25? Not in my book. Well, that was a surprise. Plenty of hot water and absolutely spotless. So, overall, there toilets were a bit Spartan but the shower was fine and the entire place was clean and tidy. The location is just off the A1 and very very convenient.
