We’ve just spent 3 nights at Willow Acres on the ‘custard’ pitch. It was a fantastic camping experience - more luxury than we are used to, but there’s now a risk we’ll never look back! Each pitch has its own compost loo, shower and outdoor kitchen which makes camping so much easier and more pleasant. The outside kitchen also has an overhang on the roof, so perfect shelter for any drizzly evenings as you can still enjoy your camp fire! The campsite owners were really lovely and chatty. Would definitely recommend and we’d definitely look to go back for another stay in the future.

What a wonderful campsite—perfect for a relaxing stay in the beautiful Welsh valleys. Ideally located near Abergavenny, Newport, and plenty of local attractions, it strikes a lovely balance between traditional camping and a touch of glamping comfort. The pods are a real highlight, offering great protection from the elements as well as a cosy space to sit, eat, and cook. It made the whole experience feel that bit more comfortable without losing the charm of camping. We had a fantastic weekend here, and the gentle sounds of the farm only added to the atmosphere. The site itself is thoughtfully set up: the ground is fairly level, campfires are allowed (with reasonably priced wood available from the owners), and each pitch has its own private composting toilet, which is a great touch. The showers are simple but reliably warm—exactly what you need after a day outdoors. I’d highly recommend this campsite for small groups or families looking to unwind. It’s not about luxury, but all the essentials are well covered, with a few thoughtful extras that make the stay feel special.

Fantastic camping experience, I arrived a bit early and the owners gave me a quick tour. The location is really nice. There’s a very easy yet beautiful hike just to the rear of the campsite which is definitely worth the effort. Toilets and showers were clean. There outdoor kitchen and seating area is very useful. Overall had a great camping experience 👍

There is a reason why this place has very good reviews, just a real hidden gem and really wonderful owners they are happy to have a chat, facilities are good with a nice kitchen and lounge area. Pitching area quite open with lots of space and between other pitches with a wild meadow feel, very pleasant. This campsite provides logs at a very reasonable price. Much better value and customer service compared to any campsite in nearby Cotswolds.
