Rhayader sits at the gateway to some of Wales's best walking and cycling country. The Elan Valley reservoirs, the Claerwen Valley, and miles of moorland surround the town, drawing visitors year-round for the landscape itself. Glan Wye is a converted barn on a working farm just outside Rhayader, close enough to walk into town but far enough to feel remote. It sleeps six across four bedrooms—a double with ensuite, a zip-and-link kingsize (which splits into two singles on request), and two singles. There are two bathrooms: a shower room and a main bathroom with a bath and shower. The ground floor holds the kitchen, living and dining areas, and a wood-burner for colder months. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and logs are included.
The property has a patio, enclosed garden and BBQ, bike storage, and parking for two cars (with EV charging available). A pub sits within a mile's walk. Guests are welcome to use the farm's right of way footpaths if they want to explore further on foot. The property is non-smoking. Cot and highchair are available for families with young children.
