Hirros Hall Longhouse is a period property with parts dating to around the 16th century, set high in the Powys hills overlooking the Banwy Valley. The main living space is open plan on the ground floor, with a woodburner, TV and Freesat, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, two further double bedrooms share a shower room. The property sleeps five and one dog is welcome; it is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
A utility room contains a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; logs for the woodburner are available to buy on site. Outside, a large garden with patio and seating looks over paddocks and ponds. Private parking is provided for one car. The owners keep horses and have stabling available if you bring your own.
The surrounding landscape suits walkers and cyclists; Dyfant Forest is 15 minutes away. Fishing lakes are a 10-minute walk, Powys Castle and Welshpool Golf Club are nearby, and a shop, pub and restaurant sit two miles down the road. The property has a natural spring water supply. No smoking indoors.

AMAZING. Keith and Lorna could not have been more knowledgeable about the area or welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect for all things outdoors and the accommodation well equipped . 2 families and three dogs had a wonderful holiday.
