Pods Bodyddon's Cain Pod VIP is a contemporary rural retreat built for comfort rather than rusticity. Everything is on one level: a living area with sofa bed and smart TV opens onto a patio through French doors, a kitchen with two-ring hob and combi microwave sits adjacent, and a separate bedroom has a double bed. The shower room includes a heated towel rail. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all provided, and there's a welcome pack on arrival.
The pod's defining feature is the private hot tub on the patio, where you'll also find garden furniture and a BBQ. Parking for one car is available. A river runs through the grounds 50 yards from the property. No smoking is permitted inside.
The location puts you in walking distance of the Powys countryside, with Lake Vyrnwy nearby for birdwatching and walking. Welshpool and Oswestry, both market towns with restaurants, shops and bars, are within reach if you want to venture out. Two castles in the area are worth exploring.

Absolutely incredible place to stay at! Clean and calm country with beautiful scenic views. Situated within a 30 minute drive from most places.. bala lake, pistyll Ryder waterfall, Aran fawddwy mountain. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Had a fire bowl situated over the bridge which was lovely to sit by and enjoy within the forest. Shop within a 4 min drive

Such a lovely place to stay! Highly recommend, beautiful views such as stream, greenery and sheep. Jacuzzi and lodge was fantastic had everything we needed. A perfect romantic getaway!

I wish I could give the place 5 stars because it was so peaceful and relaxing but we just had a slight issue with the lights above the bed not working and also the key was left in the door when we arrived was slightly off putting, as well as the slippers not being there (which would be fine as not expected, but we opted not to bring our own because it was mentioned in the listing). Other than that, the pack was super helpful, the hot tub was wonderful and it had bascially everything you need! The little gifts were really nice too :) such a hidden gem I'm glad we found it.
