Beautiful setting, right on South Downs Way and handy café in the grounds open daily. I am grateful to any farm which provides camping on this wonderful trail. BUT be aware: -There are no plug sockets -Toilets are portaloos -Showers are pretty awkward. Single large room with concrete floor and just curtains separating 2 showers. No hook or shelf in the shower to put anything so you have to reach outside of it to get towel, not something to do with strangers. So you have to lock the door to the whole building, which I hated to do with just one sink and shower for the whole site. More water shot out of the bottom of the shower control box than out of the showerhead. Some proper cubicles with hooks would be great. I took the 99 bus to Chichester for dinner and to charge my phone. Would probably just stay in Chichester next time and get bus back to trail next day.

Great campsite on south downs way. It's a large field in a valley, surroundings are very nice and it means even on a busy day you are not near other campers and have plenty of room to pitch your tents. Toilets are portaloos placed around the campsite, these were very clean. Showers were by the farm, only a curtain to divide between the showers, but they were never busy

We went to this campsite because I saw it was located in a very beautiful place. And I was not disappointed! The farm is situated in a valley of grass. In said valley you are granted to put up your tent anywhere you like! Every few meters there is a portapotty, a sink with tap water and fire extinguishers. Also, there is the possibility to light up a campfire. You can buy wood from the owner. For 10 pounds you get a bag, some kindling and firestarters. You can make the fire anywhere you like. What I also liked was the fact that we could park our motorcycles by the tent. This is very important for a biker! The shower is very basic but very good. The water has enough pressure and the heat it regulated easily. Next to the camping is a cafe where you can buy coffee, tea or breakfast. Very convenient!

Great campsite half way along the South Downs Way. Massive tidy campsite with lots of space to pitch up. Owners are really great and I was super happy to get some cooked food after the Cadence cafe had closed for the day. Many thanks. 🙏
