What visitors say
Haven't been here for errrmmm 45ish years. Really nice, calm, friendly, easy to understand interpretation, staff great fun (thankyou Liz and Georgina) . School trip. Lovely to be able to handle and guess the function of the artefacts, some with paw prints, some with finger prints. Great to get that close to history in a beautiful Sussex landscape.

If you enjoy reading the placards and descriptions at historical sites, then there are plenty here for you. The site is quite small but surrounded by vast green fields. Watch out for uneven floors of you are unsteady on your feet. The age of the mosaics and artifacts is quite impressive, and the small costume area contained a few other activities for younger children to engage with. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but the money keeps historical places like this up and running. Worth a visit of you're in the area and like history, architecture or fresh air!

Lovely piece of history in rural scenery. Visited here for the sunflower maze. Everyone working at this event was helpful and friendly. The sunflowers were beautiful. Lovely and quiet on my Sunday early morning visit. Prices for everything were fair. Lots of places to sit outside.

Slightly off the main roads, but with a visit. Contains the longest mosaic hallway in the UK and an original Roman indoor water feature
