Built from the golden sandstone characteristic of this part of Cleveland, Hayloft is a converted barn with genuine character. The three storeys are arranged simply: ground floor has the main living space and kitchen; the first floor holds two bedrooms and a bathroom; the second floor is a double bedroom with ensuite toilet and a vaulted beamed ceiling. One well-behaved dog stays free, and there's a stairgate for safety. The rear garden is enclosed and lawned, with a picnic table and space to sit out.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—induction hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine included—while the living area has a smart TV and enough seating for five. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are covered. Two cars can park on site. The village itself has a farm shop and café; directly opposite is the Tiger Inn, which serves food and welcomes dogs too.
This location works well for people who want both countryside and coast. Footpaths nearby connect to the Cleveland Way, which runs along cliffs with views down to beaches and coves. Easington sits between Staithes and Skinningrove, and the North York Moors National Park is within reach. No smoking inside the property.
