What visitors say
This is our 6th time visiting Cae Llwyn, and all times have stayed at the Fawns Rest lodge! Our visits begun in June 2024, then Sep, January 2025, May 25, June 25 & now June 2026! 😊 we have had some of the bestest memories here in Mid Wales, and travelling out, with this time being extra special, as we are pregnant and my partner proposed to me at the Craig Goch Dam in the Elan Valley! On which particular day, the bigger dams were overflowing!! Breathtaking! (massively recommend visiting Elan Valley). Claire is so lovely, and has always been so accommodating. I have contacted her a couple of times pre arrival regarding birthday balloons and banners to be ready in the lodge for our arrival, she has always been great at responding, brilliant communication. The staff around are lovely and friendly. Lodge is always pristine, so comfortable, peaceful & cosy. The hot tub has always been an amazing touch, especially at night time, on a clear night (the stars are unreal), or an early sunrise 🥰 surrounded by the incredible views. We love the lodge so much, hence why we've always come back to the same one! We love the very cute neighbours 🐑 for welcoming us in to their home! Absolutely stunning location, it really is just the best. We knew this time would be cherished as we don't know yet when we will be able to return, but we will be back in the future, with an additional guest! Thank you for genuinely giving us some of the bestest moments of our lives. Wales will always be our special place, and it really did all begin with finding this little gem, Cae Llwyn Lodges ❤️

Just returned from a beautiful weekend at Cae Llwyn Lodges! What a hidden gem! Takes glamling to another level! Both me and my partner absolutely loved this place and will definitely be returning. These owners have thought long and hard about every little detail and it shows. We stayed in the heron tent and we could not fault it! All aspects of the site and tent were spotlessly clean and so well kept! The tent was so comfortable and cosy with special little touchs that didn't go un-noticed. It was an absolute paradise that has something to suit all parties! If your on the fence about booking a break here, I would strongly recommend that you do! You won't be disappointed. So lucky to have found this place and can't wait to come back! Thank you Cae Llwyn Breaks for an amazing stay!

My partner and I stayed in the Fox Den for 3 nights recently. The cabin was small but cosy and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. The surroundings were stunning and the lambs in the immediate fields on the property were a joy to watch. It was an excellent base for exploring the local area including Rhayader the Elan Valley. The owners were friendly and very helpful throughout booking process and the stay, where they were on hand to answer any questions.

The Otter was great to stay in just a few things really. SOFA was very itchy to sit on and I have Lymphedema in my leg and it bothered my leg.alot. Also No lamps in the bedroom WHICH I am confused by. Hot tub was great and I did get in touch with you and straight away you brought the temp down abit and it was much better. Thank you so much for sorting that out
