Perfect campsite, plenty of secluded individual pitches if you want somewhere quieter. Located right on the lake with easy access for water sports. Beautiful landscape and super handy kind guy who came around frequently on his electric bike! Also we were told we didn’t have to leave the campsite until 3/4 pm which meant we had more time to enjoy the area.

Here are a few highlights from our stay: - The owner is a really friendly who makes a point to check in on guests each morning, ensuring everything is going well. - The lake at the end of the campsite is fantastic for those who enjoy paddle boarding or kayaking. - While the nearest village for shopping is a few miles away, the drive is scenic and enjoyable. - We also took advantage of nearby attractions like Porthmadog and beautiful beaches such as Black Rock and Shell Island. I have recommended this campsite to friends, colleagues, and family, as I believe it offers a wonderful experience for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature. Beautiful site, friendly management, clean facilities and a fantastic spot to walk up snowdon. Clear instructions on all site rules provided several times before you even get there. Loved the fact no music allowed and to use the wood and fire pits supplied at the site was enforced and management popping by for a chat and to make sure everything was ok for you. Really friendly (everyone there) and couldn’t fault the place. Really good Snowdon cider at the pub and the food was great. All round a fabulous weekend. We’ll be back!

Very clean and tidy campsite. Shower block, toilets, sinks, drinking water, trolleys to cart all your stuff about. There is NO shop onsite, my only minor hiccup. 20 minute walk back to the Cwellyn Arms for lunch and a pint. They do rolls for takeaway and pub snacks. The nearest shop to walk to, is on top of Snowdon summit 🤣
