Absolutely loved our two night break. Hosts were friendly and helpful as was the housekeeper. We had a yurt chosen specifically for one of my favorite places in the uk, the dales. Such a beautiful base for any wild swimmer or walker. Yurt itself was spacious and so well equipt. Everything was thought of. Electricity, fan. Heater, fire, fridge. Hit water bottles, umbrellas, extra blankets, bored games, good wifi, private toilet/shower per yurt well equipt communal kitchen if you want to self cater. We only used the meal service once for breakfast which was delivered to the yurt piping hot and delicious. We booked the hot tub 1 of the nights which was very nice. Honestly hoping to get back soon! Stunning virws and acces on foot to some of my absolute favorite waterfalls and short drives to many more. Have wanted to stay here for ages, often passed when in the dales, and so glad I finally got and it exceeded expectations. Mattresses and sofa are probably due and upgrade they were a smidge on the springy side but they had mattress topper on and youre so tored from a day's activity its not too much of an issue.

Stayed here after walking from Kirby Stephen over The Nine Standards (Coast to Coast route). The weather was awful, snow and strong winds so we were so grateful to be received by Julia and Jim. We couldn't have been looked after any better. Thank you. The bunk house was spotlessly clean, cosy, warm, with comfortable sofas and lots of hot water. There is a small drying room too which was so appreciated. There is a home cooking area with everything you would ever need- even a wine chiller! Kindly, Julia prepared our evening meal (catering for my vegetarian option too) such generous portions and delicious. Just what we needed after our walking day. Julia's breakfasts and packed lunches can be recommended too. Once recovered, we were able to relax and enjoy the spectacular views, even on this wild March day. Next to the bunk house Is Rainby Force, the waterfall was in full spate - remarkable! Slept soundly...

What a lovely place. We stayed in the double bed en-suite in the barn, bed was comfortable & everything was lovely & clean. The communal area was lovely and spacious with two dining tables & two sofas very cosy and kitchen was equipped with everything you would need if you wanted to use the facilities. We had a dinner from the menu one evening which was absolutely delicious & huge portion. Julie & Jim were so lovely couldn’t have done more for us made our stay so warm and welcoming. Will most definitely be staying again next time I make it up to the area. Thank you very much Kaylee & Nichola
