Marton is a quiet Warwickshire village surrounded by countryside ideal for walking. The Stables sits on a private road next to the owner's home, giving you your own space while remaining close to local amenities. Southam is under 5 miles away for everyday needs, and Rugby town centre lies 9 miles off with shops, restaurants and parks including Caldecott Park and Coombe Abbey Country Park.

The cottage is a single-storey property with everything on one level. You get a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and a combined living room and kitchen where you can prepare meals. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. There's a front patio with garden furniture and parking on the road nearby. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The surrounding area has plenty to explore beyond the village. Draycote Reservoir, roughly 6 miles away, offers fly fishing for trout, circular walking and cycling routes, sailing, and birdwatching. Royal Leamington Spa is 10 miles distant with its Regency architecture, independent shops and the Royal Pump Rooms spa. Warwick Castle sits 12 miles off. The property suits couples seeking a base for country pursuits, and is especially appealing if you're travelling with a dog. No smoking indoors.

Honestly can’t thank this riding school enough, they are so good with my daughter, she isn’t the easiest and gets very distracted in life 🤣 but every single person gets her and I love that! Horses/ponies are well looked after , when going on hacks they take you over to their fields and all the horses run up to you, showing off, that was lovely to see! Lessons are amazing my daughter has come on so good with her lessons, she wants to be a show jumper (good luck Sam 🤣) just love how welcoming everyone is!

My daughter has been riding here for 18 months now. She loves it. Sam is amazing and so laid back. Sam puts the kids on different ponies to teach them different skills. They are taught to groom the ponies, muck out and tack up too. They learn all aspects of horse keeping not just turning up and riding. My daughter regularly goes for whole days in the holidays too and is taught how to maintain the tack and kit too. We now part loan a pony on a flexi basis and this is so convenient for us. All the adults are super helpful and knowledgeable. Sam puts on events for the kids such as mini shows in the holidays too. My daughter loves it. Please dont be put off by the space you see, they have fields and more shelter in the fields over the road. Ponies spend one day in the yard and 2 days in the fields on rotation meaning that they have plenty of grazing, space and time off working. Parking can be tricky sometimes but there is extra space on the main road at the end of the driveway too.

My 2 daughters rode for 18 months elsewhere and during that time I didn’t see a single improvement, they were literally sacks of potatoes plonked on top of a weary pony being dragged around a school for 20 minutes. I did a lot of driving round different riding schools when I made the decision to change them. As soon as I pulled up at The Stables the 2 ladies who greeted me and the girls were SO friendly. They got them booked in straight away for a taster session. The girls were immediately sold after their first lesson! They now ride once a week and regularly stay for the entire day helping out. They absolutely love it. The girls and ladies who are there are so kind and friendly, and I have seen 150% improvement in their riding already! They are pushed but not made to feel uncomfortable. The horses are all adored and well cared for and the instructor knows all of their individual personality traits and works with them. I am so so happy I swapped them over and couldn’t recommend it more.
