Balla works well for families or small groups wanting a base near the sea without the formality of a hotel. The duplex spreads across two floors with a king bed, double, and single, sleeping five in total. Downstairs is an open-plan living and kitchen area with a dining table, Freeview Smart TV, and everything needed to cook—oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher. There's a shower room with heated towel rail. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are simply furnished. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; there's parking for one car on site.

The property sits in the heart of Eyemouth, a working fishing town on the Berwickshire coast. The beach and harbour are a short walk away. The town has a museum and Gunsgreen House if you want to learn about its smuggling history, while the Berwickshire Coastal Path heads out along dramatic cliffs toward places like St Abbs. You can watch seals near the quayside or explore the seafront. No smoking is permitted inside.
