Tighlochan Pods

We spent one unforgettable night in the Handa pod at Wayne’s place, and everything was absolutely perfect. The pod itself is beautifully built , warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with great taste and attention to every detail. We chose this special place to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and we are so happy we did. The bedding was extremely comfortable, the surroundings peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and recharge. The welcome from the hosts was incredibly warm and genuine. You can truly feel the love and dedication behind this family business, and we are deeply grateful for all the hard work they put into creating this little paradise for their guests. And if you are lucky enough, you may even see deer right beside the pods , a magical experience that makes the stay even more special. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We will keep wonderful memories of this beautiful place.

A tiny pod ... at a massive price for what you get. The pod was clean and well equipped with kit ... but the cost is way too high for what it is. This night cost 50% more than all the other accommodation on a two-week tour in the area, yet all the others (as well as including breakfast) had enough room for two people to sleep and eat. The bed in the pod is not big enough for two, with the curved wall meaning the person who has to climb across their partner to get in & out also bangs their head on the roof. We cooked a meal for two, but there was not room for two to sit together and eat at the table. Cosy (meaning very small) but hugely overpriced.

Tiny but comfortable and very thoughtfully equipped. Everything you need is there, and more. The perfect place to relax, it is very calm. A welcome basket inclunding delicious eggs. I definitely recommend..

A brilliant place to stay! I stayed in the newest of the three pods available and it was excellent. Very warm and cosy with superb decoration inside. I loved the matching colour scheme items everywhere. The owners provided fresh milk, cereals and eggs for breakfast. Delicious. Great Wi-Fi and a sound bar meant a night with no tv but great entertainment.
